As much as I love a good mystery (looking at you @StephenKing) I’d hate to keep you in the
dark about why my company is named Honeycomb Photography. See this little bee tattoo? It
was my very first and holds the most importance.
My grandfather is a beekeeper in rural Virginia. He harvests honey and invites local schools out to his little farm to see the animals and learn about bees. Seeing him light up when he talks about new equipment and the health of the hive is SO precious.
My family is my heart. I grew up moving every two or three years because my dad was a Marine, and now that I'm married to a sailor the adventure continues. Home has always been less about the location and more about the people. It just felt right that my first tattoo would be dedicated to those roots.
